Tampa, FL – Tempus Projects presents Leave Your Body and Soul at the Door at our temporary space at 4220 N. Florida Ave. Through a range of media, these thirteen regional and national artists tackle themes of identity, exclusion, discrimination, imposed limitations, and denial of body autonomy. As a birthright in the United States, we learn to play by a delineated set of patriarchal rules—rules that insist on leaving oneself out of the equation and going above and beyond just to break even.
HOME IS ANYWHERE YOU HANG YOUR HEAD :: Group Exhibition
Tampa, FL – Tempus Projects presents Home is Anywhere You Hang Your Head at our temporary space at 4220 N. Florida Ave. This exhibition centers its curatorial crux on the integration of artworks in the domestic setting. From refurbished and refreshed vintage lounge chairs to newly fabricated furnishings, the surrounding design elements and artworks have been pointedly selected in relation to one another. Newly fabricated and mid-century furniture, light fixtures, video installations, paintings, jewelry, records, books, potted plants, housewares, and other hand-crafted home goods will be exhibited for sale as a fundraiser for Tempus Projects

Tampa, FL – Tempus Projects proudly presents RIOTS & RALLIES, PARADES & PROTESTS, new work by Michael Jones, curated by K. Tauches. Michael Jones brings his gritty collage aesthetic to the gallery to comment on the things Americans like in 2021. His latest series, “Riots & Rallies, Parades & Protests,” conjures a mood of unrest in the streets.
