Tempus Projects is pleased to present Leave Your Body and Soul at the Door. Through a range of media, these thirteen regional and national artists tackle themes of identity, exclusion, discrimination, imposed limitations, and denial of body autonomy. As a birthright in the United States, we learn to play by a delineated set of patriarchal rules—rules that insist on leaving oneself out of the equation and going above and beyond just to break even.
Please join us on Saturday, October 30 for a members-only cocktail hour at 6pm, with our opening reception to follow 7-9pm. The reception will include a Dead Man’s Party featuring DJ Gabe Echazabal and a special performance by Noisy Womxn! Costumes encouraged 🧛♀️
Leave Your Body and Soul at the Door will be open for a press preview and special guests October 27 & 28 by invitation. Tempus Projects is located at 4220 N. Florida Ave. Masks required in the gallery, please.
