More and Better Ideas for You, a solo exhibition of new work by Tampa-based Jenn Ryann Miller, opens the dialogue between materiality and the perception of form. Miller uses an assemblage of raw materials that pin painting against sculpture. This contrast of materials leads to formally appealing and intelligent works that remain playful and inviting. This exhibition will challenge the viewer’s distinctions between the social practice of craft and contemporary art. Miller’s new works are pushing further to new conceptual limits.  

Jenn Ryann Miller has been part of numerous solo and group exhibitions in Florida and the United States. Originally from Connecticut, she received a BFA from the University of Connecticut and an MFA from the University of South Florida. Miller currently teaches ceramics and foundations at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, and Hillsborough Community College.
