CALLING(615) features current works from Nashville, Tennessee, including the work of Nicole Baumann, Derek Coté, Shara DeWitt, and Ronald Lambert.
Nicole Baumann was born in Hicksville, NY, and received her MFA and BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She currently lives and works in Nashville.
As a frustrated architect, explorer, and aspiring short filmmaker, Derek Coté received his MFA in Sculpture + Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University and BFA in Sculpture and Photography with a minor in Art History from Western Washington University.
Shara DeWitt was born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. Through 2002 to 2006, she spent many hours in the Hillsborough Community College print lab, where she was her happiest. She currently resides between Nashville and New York City, but constantly misses the ocean.
Working mainly in video and sculpture, Ron Lambert investigates the intersection between psychology and the environment. He received his MFA from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University, and his BFA from the University of Connecticut. Ron is a founding member of the COOP collective in Nashville.
